Veiwing Order Status
|Checking Order Status:
To check the status of an order, you forst need to login to your account. Once you have logged in, click on the "Your Account" tab in the upper navigation bar. Example shown below.
Your account summary screen will be loaded.
(This section has a number of useful tools at your disposal, however this tutorial is regarding order status and that is what will be discussed here. For more information on the other tools, please review the Help & Information Center.)
The account summary screen has two (2) Order Status sections. The first Order Status section is reserved for items that were found within our site and added to the shopping cart. The second Custom Order Status section is for custom orders placed for parts that are not located in our site. These orders are usually for OEM replacement parts, or aftermarket parts that have been quoted through our contact us, email, or phone inquiry's. This tutorial will cover the normal Order Status section, the Custom Order Status section will work the same way. Example of the account summary screen is shown below.
When you click on the text link for Order Status, the system will take you to the order summary section. This section will list all the orders that have been placed with this users account. The page will list the Order#, date the order was created, summary of status, and order value. To view the details of the order, click on the "view details" text link to the right of the order summary you wish to view. An example of this page is shown below.
Once you click the view details link, a detailed view of the complete order will be shown. This page has a number of key elements that allow us to maintain communication with our customer and how well the order is progressing. These elements are important to our customers, so they are importnat to us as well. The example order details screen shown below with the key elements noted.
